In my opinion, absolutely not. If you want people to take you seriously and have confidence in your abilities, than you have to look the part.
Let me give you a scenario: You finish University with a degree in Business Administration, and searching for your dream job, yourself and another person are lined up with several interviews with exclusive businesses. How you present yourself is the most important aspect of the interview. If you walk into that interview dressed for success head to toe , I guarantee, you will walk taller, with your shoulders back and exude confidence.

I wanted to begin this blog for the simple reason that women and men need a voice. Sharing your experiences is a way of expressing how you feel. For years I've been promoting self-esteem in women, to take pride in who they are, to wake up every morning, first getting into the mind set of dressing for success in life. The feel good about yourself attitude, embracing who you are as a person coupled with dressing your body, setting it up for success. Then and only then will you feel powerful and ready to take on any situation that comes your way. You will exude confidence and self esteem that will be your building blocks. This is why I named my blog, mind and body dress for success, because dressing for success is not only what you wear on your body but how you dress your mind, how you view yourself, in preparation to be out there day after day.
